RIVERDALE RECORDERS
Housed in one of Edmonton’s oldest continually operating recording studios, Riverdale Recorders has firmly established itself as a home to many of the city’s best artists. While our engineers utilize the latest and greatest in recording technology, the essence of the studio dates back to the analog era, leaving its unique mark on every project we record.
The studio is optimized for recording “live off the floor” and features three acoustically isolated rooms with glass partitions for proper sight lines. This setup ensures full bands can record while playing live together and still allows for overdubbing and editing as necessary. Many of our final mixes have included those magical first-take vocal runs or guitar solos you won’t capture any other way.
Conveniently located in central Edmonton near dozens of excellent restaurants and cafes, Riverdale Recorders is home to two of the city’s premiere engineers, a unique list of vintage instruments and recording equipment, and proudly, some of the best coffee you will find in YEG.
